Believe it or not, you’re supposed to sweat! Sweating not only regulates your body temperature, but it also releases any toxins building up in your body. Natural deodorants won’t block your pores, will minimize sweating without blocking your pores/glands - all while keeping you smelling fresh.

You can use it whenever you shower! It was created to balance your skin’s pH, and it’s super gentle to keep your skin’s natural oils intact.

Our lotion is actually alcohol-free! We do not use solvent alcohol or ethanol (ethyl alcohol), which you typically find in many skincare products. Instead we use fatty alcohols (derived from coconut or sustainable palm), which are used as emollients and thickeners - they are not irritating and can be very beneficial for your skin. As described in FDA regulation: ”Cosmetic products, including those labeled ‘alcohol free,’ may contain other alcohols, such as cetyl, stearyl, cetearyl, or lanolin alcohol. We formulated Dewy Body Lotion with the intention of it being like a face cream for your body. Not too greasy or watery, it was made to hydrate your skin and is balanced at the optimal body pH. If you want to use if on your face, try it in a small area at first, as the skin on your face may react to products differently (and can even have a different pH) than the skin on your body.

TSS is a rare, life-threatening complication of bacterial infections. TSS is a medical emergency. TSS is often caused by toxins produced by two types of bacteria: staph and strep. TSS has been linked to the use of tampons, but today approximately half of TSS cases are related to menstrual product use. We recommend changing your tampon at least every 4-8 hours, and never using your tampon for more than 8 hours. Always use the lightest absorbency you need for your flow, and do not use higher absorbency tampons solely to avoid changing your tampon too often. If you’re new to the world of tampons—welcome! They may seem intimidating at first, but you’ll be a pro after a few tries. Complete instructions are included in every package, but here’s the quickie version: 1. Hold the applicator at the grooved rings with your thumb and middle. 2. Gently ease the applicator into your vagina until your finger and thumb are touching your body. 3. Push the inner tube up into the outer tube with your index, then remove both tubes. 4. You know you’ve done it right If you don’t feel the tampon at all. The string should be hanging outside your bod. 5. After 4-8 hours, pull on the string to remove the tampon, then insert a new one as needed. YOU. GOT. THIS.

Unfortunately they are not. There is a lot of junk out there, often made in unregulated and unregistered facilities. When thinking about which cup to buy, make sure the cup is made with 100% medical grade silicone, FDA compliant, and 501 (k) cleared. If you have questions about our manufacturing practices and ingredients, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Essentially, it means that the silicone has been tested for biocompatibility to ensure that it is appropriate for use in medical devices, like the cup.

Don’t worry, this happens! ! Leaking with the cup is most often caused by the cup being positioned incorrectly or not creating a secure suction seal. Try using a different fold technique or changing up the placement height to ensure your cup is inserted correctly and completely sealed.

We recommend switching to a new cup once a year. There are a few different factors that affect how long your cup can be used such as how often you clean your cup and what you use to clean it, along with your own vaginal pH. Be sure to take a thorough look at your cup on a regular basis, and if you see any signs of wear and tear such as films, discoloring, or odors, replace the cup as soon as possible.

Place your clean cup in its pouch and store in a safe, dry place until your next period.

Just empty contents in the toilet, wash your cup with clean water or re-sterilize by boiling. Pretty easy, right?

Wash your hands with warm soapy potable water, then make sure you’re in a relaxed, seated position. Find the stem and with your thumb and index finger, pinch the ribbed area above the stem to break the seal. Make sure the seal is broken before pulling to prevent suction, then slowly slide the cup out. If you have trouble finding it, don’t freak out. Just push outward/Just push outward with your vaginal muscles while you feel for the stem with your thumb and index finger. Whoop, there it is.

You can wear your cup up to 10-12 hours at a time, and it should be emptied and washed at least every 12 hours.

We include instructions + diagrams in every package, so check those out for a full breakdown. But really it’s just these 3 (relatively easy) steps. 1. Fold the cup to make it easier to insert. We suggest the “C Fold” but do you. 2. Make sure you’re in a relaxed, seated position and slide the cup (rim first) into your vagina. The cup will open as it goes in. 3. It should be fully expanded and sealed against the vaginal walls but if it feels weird, try rotating the cup or re-inserting. It should rotate freely and feel comfy, then you’re good to go.
